Apple delays shipments of UltraFine 5K monitor while LG fixes router issue Following LG’s admission that its new UltraFine 5K Display  doesn’t play nice with routers , Apple has delayed shipments of the monitor by up to six weeks on its website. The delay,  noticed first by  MacRumors  this afternoon , extends the wait for the Apple-certified monitor from two weeks, while  LG continues to work  on a shielding fix for future models to help cut down on electromagnetic interference. The 4K version of the device is still readily available, with a shipping estimate of  about two to three days . The issue was first pointed out by Apple-dedicated news sites and early owners of the display late last month. Google Chrome mobile update brings VR functionality.           Gooogle  has announced that the forthcoming update to its Chrome mobile application will allow any web user to enjoy 3D content, without necessarily using the firm's Daydream View  virtual reality  headset. This new version of Chrome will let mobile device users enjoy 3D content from online platforms such as Matterport, with its 300,000 virtual tours (museums, palaces, celebrity homes, etc.) and the Sketchfab community, featuring around a million animations. WebVR support in Chrome will considerably boost the choice of 3D scenes, previously available via the YouTube application. Owners of  Google  's Daydream View can slip their smartphone into the headset for instant immersion into all of these virtual worlds. Valve replaces Steam Greenlight with Steam Direct, to introduce ‘publishing fee’ for game developers Game developers would now have to pay a fee to put their game on Steam Direct. However, the 'publishing fee' has not been zeroed upon by Valve yet. It is expected the fee would be quoted between $100 and $5000.
